From the early childhood she has showed variety of talents - learnt to play violoncello, took painting courses.
But her desire to draw was stronger than her desire to play music.
Before entering the Kiev State Art Institute (Ukrainian Academy of Arts) Nataliya attended Michael Ivanov’s and Igor Grigoriev's private art studios.
In 1982 she graduated from the Kiev State Art Institute (workshop of book drawing of Chebanik V. Y), in 1988 finished her postgraduate study in the Academy of Arts of the USSR (workshop of the academician Deregus M. G).
Since 1985 – a member of the Union of artists of Ukraine, the trustee of Kiev organisation of the Union of artists of Ukraine.
Nataliya Nikolaychuk started to exhibit in 1982.
She is participant of many all-Union, republican and international exhibitions (Denmark, Germany, Canada, Japan, France).
Many works of the artist can be found in the collections of the Ministry of culture and arts of Ukraine, Administration of exhibitions halls of the Union of artists, in Donetsk, Lugansk, the Zaporozhye, Chernigov, Khmelnitskiy and Poltava art museums, the National museum of the book (Kiev, Monastery), in the Art galleries of Izmail, Krivoi Rog, in private collections of Ukraine and abroad.
From 1995 she is the dean of Faculty of Fine Arts, the Kiev Children Academy of Arts, a unique educational institution.
In 1996 Nikolaychuk Nataliya was given the title «Honoured artist of Ukraine».
For personal merits in culture and art development, art merits Nikolaychuk Nataliya was awarded by a breastplate of the Kiev Mayor – «Honour Sign», gratitude, diplomas for active participation in the art life of Kiev and Ukraine.
