Graduated the Donetsk Art School with honours and the Ukrainian Academy of Printing (Lvov), Faculty of Graphics.

Vasily considers I.L.Makarenko his main teacher, the known artist-teacher from Donetsk.

He has been carrying out a number of personal exhibitions in Donetsk since 1991.

Vasily participated in republican and international exhibitions of engraving.

Over the past years he works as the painter and the illustrator of books.

Vasily’s works are in Ukraine and Argentina, where he has lived recently.
