Sergey is born in 1959 in Kharkov.
In 1985 he graduated from the Kharkov Art and Design Institute, the section of the monumental and decorative painting.
He is a member of the Ukraine Artist’ Union.
He works in the field of the easel painting.
From 1984, when he was a student, Sergey took part in the professional exhibitions, attracting attention of critics and masters of painting.
His works have been repeatedly marked in the professional publications.
During 18 years of the artist creative way he has many regional, republican and international exhibitions and exhibitory competitions.
The artist manner and his theme arouse a constant interest both in our country and abroad.
Sergey Alymov’s creative works are always the individual vision plus the original solution.
There are his works in museums and private collections of the USA, Canada, Israel, Poland, Germany, Sweden, Chine, the Commonwealth of the Independent States.
Artworks are on permanent exhibition in the gallery "Globus".
