He was born in 1967 in Chernigov region.

In 1992 he has graduated from the art-graphics faculty of the Odessa teacher's college.

Since 1992 to 1995 he is a teacher of painting at the art school of Chernigov.

In 1995-1996 he is a head of a department of modern art in the Art museum of Chernigov.

In 1996-2000 he taught at the school of arts in Slavutich.

Since 1999 he is a member of the Artists Union of Ukraine.

The wizard works in the area of the easel painting, paints landscapes, still life, portraits. His direction is realism.

He prefers to paint from a nature. The artist was the participant of the open-airs in Sidnev (1995), and also in Slovakia and Crimea.

Leonid Zaborovsky is a participant of the regional and All-Ukrainian exhibitions. His works are in private collections of Ukraine and abroad.
