The artist Ihor Ropyanyk was born in the city of Ivano-Frankivsk /former Stanislav/ in Ukraine in 1957.

He works with drawings and prefers landscape and still life ones.

He has created over two thousand canvas for thirty years of his carrier, which were exhibited on numerous exhibitions, and presently are in private collections of fifteen countries of the world.

He had the personal exhibitions in Lviv (1981, 1982), in Ivano-Frankivsk (1987, 2005, 2007), Detroit (USA) in the gallery «Chajka» - in 1992.

He is a member of the Association of artists of Prykarpattja.
