George Harchenko (a creative pseudonym Dikiy) was born on 25th of June, 1961, in the town of Askania Nova, the Kherson district.

He finished the Kherson School of Culture in 1979.

During the period of service on the Black Sea fleet worked as the some kind of a designer.

Since 1983 had been living in the city of Sevastopol.

Worked on the vessels of foreign navigation, combining a job of the seaman with painting.

In 90th years George Harchenko participated in artistic exhibitions in Central Artistic House, Moscow and in galleries of Kiev.

His works are in private collections in the USA, Poland, Russia and Ukraine.

Now George Harchenko is actively engaged in painting and carries out classes within the project «Discover Yourself as an Artist » where each and every person can paint an oil painting on a canvas for three hours, being taught by the artist.
