Olga Chernetska (22.1.1982) - an artist, have been admiring painting since my childhood.
I graduated from Art School #2 in a centre of Kyiv at Yaroslaviv Val Street.
I took part in lots of competitions for young talented artists.
After graduating I was preparing to enter the Kyiv Academy of Painting and Architecture, taking private lessons from a famous Ukrainian painter - O.Jivotkov in Kyiv Republic Painting School.
I graduated from Kyiv Shevchenko University, the Department of International Relations, then graduated from Kyiv Academy of Painting and Architecture, the Department of History of Art.
I have started painting with oil unexpectedly.
Since having taken a brush and a mustihin, I realiset for myself that I cannot live without it any more.
Now I spend all my time painting and working in my workshop, so I call myself an Artist with satisfaction and devotion.
Describing myself, I would like to say that I love my family, my life and everything gorgeous that surround us - music, theatre, literature, cinema...
My main inspiration is nature - the sun, the sky, the sea, the ocean, mountains, trees, flowers... the landscape itself.
I love Ukraine, Kyiv where I and my children were born, I admire Lviv, Odessa, Yalta.
I love travelling and learning different languages.
I admire London, Paris, Prague, Rome, Nice, Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, Madrid, Barcelona,Vienna.
Dreaming about visiting New York, Tokyo and Shanghai.
I am inspired by Michelangelo, Botticelli, Picasso, Modigliani, Russo, Warhol, Pollock, Malevich, Murashko, Shevchenko, Goncharova, Larionov, Filonov, Ekster, Pirosmani, Primachenko, Gluschenko, Gluk, Maksimenko and Tsvetkova.
My credos are:
- find yourself
- after loving yourself, you will love the world around you
- forgive yourself - and you will forgive everybody
- change yourself and you will change the world around
- the inside world is much more important than the outside one
- if you are looking for the enemy - look into the mirror
- the sin is when you have realized your mistake and keep on doing the same
- modesty and real sincere love make miracles
- fear and anvy are the ground of a sin
- light, kindness and hard work always win.
I think that the world is wonderful and worth saving.
