Yury was born in Manganets, Dnepropetrovsk area on July, 16th, 1963.

1981 - 1984 – service in the army where he made the first steps to the fine arts (as a member of a garrison editorial board of a local newspaper).

After dismissal from army till 1993 – work in the Marganetsky city newspaper «Miner of Manganets» as a press photographer.

In 1993 established an own art and photography studio.

Participated in city and regional photos and art exhibitions.

Since 2000 year has been working as the amateur artist. For this period he has painted more than two hundred artworks which were exhibited at regional exhibitions in Nikopol, Dnepropetrovsk, Zaporozhye, Kiev.

I’m in love with nature of Cossack land, I prefer the realistic landscape painting.
